Question, what does most everyone what in their life?  Answer, they want to be understood and accepted.  Oh, yeah, and they want to be ruler of the world.  That is the central theme of Where The Wild Things Are the movie I saw on Sunday night.  I affirmatively disclose that I have not received anything in return for my endorsement of this movie.

This week’s withdrawal is dedicated to everyone inner child who really just wants to be accepted, understood, and in control of their world.  I don’t think this is too much to ask.  It isn’t too much to ask.   What happens when you feel left out or marginalized in some way?  Don’t you find a way to escape?  I do.

My methods of escape vary from situation to situation.  They have varied from time to time over the years too.  Mostly though, and especially when I was a child, I just went into my own little world.  Almost literally took myself into another place and time.  Of course that didn’t help others understand me very well.  It only made matters worse.

There aren’t any special quotations this week.  Just an affirmation that nobody is alone when sometimes you feel left out or misunderstood.  That, plus the non-commercial recommendation that you go see this movie.

Peace.
